How some banks stay alive
This is my first post to the CB site, Eric and Pete - so forgive me if I screw it up. Many of the topics that will appear here are topics that I have covered in the past by postings to my personal blogsite - this present topic, for instance. Here is the link to a May blog, which may interest some of your subscribers.

Security of custody is going to become more important than ever, as the derivatives mess unravels.

Re: How some banks stay alive
Gordon, that was a very chilling Blog post that brings to light some scary realities we live with.
The media is pretty much silent on what is happening with banks.
Also, Gordon you are with friends, peers and people who want to learn.
We need your experience and knowledge here. That is why I contacted you about crossing borders.
Your post was fine.
Personally I would have copied and pasted the first paragraph to wet their
appetite and then gave a link. But who cares? Most members know you here anyway.
I do not care how you post. Even if it is just a link.
I am glad you are here. Welcome.

Hi Gordon, welcome and thanks for sharing your experience.
You are welcome to copy and paste your blogs in their entirety to this forum.
Many people living in China would be interested to read but sadly Blogspot along with most other popular blog sites is blocked.
Thanks,
Admin Team
