Set up an offshore investement fund. How?
This is not the typical investment fund question.
The situation is this.
Several people have been wanting me to invest money for them. I have a track record with Cryptocurrencies. A very impressive record it is. That is fine and good but when I have people wanting me to invest money so they can make a return on the investment, I get nervous about doing this as an individual.
Not that I am afraid of making a return on investment, I just need the protections of a business or investment entity.
None of the people are US citizens, nor would they be investing US dollars.
They would be sending Bitcoins to an offshore wallet.
The wallet would be in Peru, a country that does not have all of the extensive regulations of developed nations
My question is how could I set this up? Any ideas on where I should start the search?

Eric,
Protected Cell Companies are often used for this sort of trading. Start researching there perhaps.
Cheers,
Pete

Yes I have heard of the cell phone companies doing this.
In fact that is kind of where it started.
But with me not using cash and having investors that are willing to send me Bitcoins,(and get paid in Bitcoins) I am in kind of a netherworld, right now.
I welcome all ideas.
Thanks Pete I will take another look at the Cell companies.

No worries It may not be the right one for you in this instance but it's worth looking at.

I am looking at Protected Cell Companies closely. Very interesting.
Also I have figured out how many Bitcoin trading companies structure their corporations.
They use Belize corporations.
Fascinating and also in a good deal of these cases what they are doing is very questionable as far as the legalities of US law and Belize law.
It would be so easy for me to do this, but I am looking for totally legal solutions.
